FSANZ  assess new processing aid for use in the baking industry

Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) has assessed an application made to permit a new source microorganism, being a genetically modified Saccharomyces cerevisiae, for the permitted enzyme, maltogenic alpha-amylase as a processing aid for use in the baking industry.
