Bureau of Standards plans to formulate standards for edible grains, cereals and flour

The Mongolian Bureau of Standards and Metrology issued Announcements Nos. 299 and 298 to formulate standards for edible cereals and cereal flours. The main content of the edible grain standard includes: sensory evaluation indicators (shape, color, odor, etc.), physical and chemical properties (moisture, ash, protein, etc.), health and safety indicators (heavy metals, molds, aflatoxins, radioactivity, pests, etc.) etc.), quality index measurement methods, packaging and labeling requirements.
