FSANZ publishes Food Standards Code Revision (2020) variation

The Food Standard Australia and New Zealand published regulation on the Food Standards (Proposal P1051 â Code Revision (2020)) Variation. The regulation amends various standards and schedules.
The focal points of the scientific document are summarized here:
Omission by substitution of GRAS list of flavouring substances published by FEMA edition 28 to edition 29.
Typographical updates on the labelling requirements of date marking, nutritional information and microbiological limits in food.
The instrument will amend the following standards and schedules listed below:

Standard 4.2.3 â Primary production and processing standard for meat
