Amendment published to incorporate warning symbol in alcoholic beverages

Joint Resolution 18/2021 has been published, which modifies the Food Code in its article 236 on labeling of alcoholic beverages.
The new wording is: âArticle 236: The labels of the alcoholic beverages that are marketed in the country must bear, obligatorily printed in a visible place and in contrast of colors that ensures their correct visibility; a pictogram consisting of a circle with a cross bar on a silhouette of a pregnant woman; which as an Annex registered with No. IF-2020-48106510-APN-DLEIAER # ANMAT forms an integral part of this article.
