FSANZ has Approved New Application for Food Additive Mono and Diglycerides of Fatty Acids (INS 471)

The purpose of this application is to extend the permission of the food additive mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids (INS 471) as a surface coating on fruit & vegetables to increase postharvest shelf life.
