In force Decree 392-19 that establishes the sanitary regulation of milk and dairy products

The provision consists of 230 articles and details the legal, technical and administrative rules to regulate the quality and safety of milk and its derivatives in the different production, handling, processing, storage, distribution and sale processes.

The decree indicates that dairy products must be made with pasteurized milk and, therefore, prohibits the commercialization and consumption of milk that is not subjected to this thermal process.
