The National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA in Portuguese) published, in the Official Journal of the Union (D.O.U. in Portuguese), the Resolution of the Collegiate Direction (RDC) 632/2022, which establishes the restriction of the use of industrial trans fats in food.
It is important to clarify that the measure is the result of the process of review and consolidation of regulatory acts, whose guidelines are established in Decree 10.139/2019.
