New max levels for T-2 and HT-2 toxins in food and grains

On the 9th of April, the European Commission (EC) adopted Regulation (EU) 2024/1038 that amends the current maximum levels of T-2 and HT-2 toxins in food set by Regulation (EU) 2023/915.
Because there is little data currently available on all the modified forms of T-2 and HT-2, the new maximum levels are set for the sum of T-2 and HT-2 toxins. The provided levels are specified for separate food groups and unprocessed grains.
