No more PFAS in food packaging sold in the US

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced the completion of the voluntary market phase-out of substances containing Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS).

PFAS, widely used in food packaging paper and paperboard, are chemicals that resist grease, oil, water, and heat and have been associated with serious health effects.
