FSSAI confirms adoption of RDA 2020 for Indian population

The new values of Recommended Daily Intake (RDA -2020) of vitamins, minerals and amino acids for the Indian population will enter into force from July 1, 2023 for compliance. Until that time, food businesses can comply with the 2010 RDA, however, as of July 2023, only the 2020 RDA will be in effect and must be met by food businesses.
