Update of the regulations on the use of trans fats published by ANVISA

The main change refers to the term for the sale of refined oils and processed foods. The regulations establish that industrialized foods manufactured until June 30, 2021 may also be marketed until the end of their respective useful life, even if they contain industrial trans fats above the limit established in RDC 332/2019. However, even if they are within the expiration date, these products will only be marketable until December 31, 2022.
