FDA announces restrictions on the use of in foods and supplements

The restrictions will go into effect on July 1. It is commonly used as a raw material for drinks, tablets, capsules, powders, granules and other food after extraction. The active ingredients are mainly derived from hydroxyanthracene and there are relevant scientific research reports in the world that have indicated that long-term consumption of foods or dietary supplements containing derivatives of hydroxyanthracene has safety concerns. Based on the currently available literature, it is impossible to determine the safe daily intake of hydroxyanthracene derivatives.
