New Romanian Food Supplements Law
Romania
May 02, 2021
The Law no. 56/2021 establishes the general conditions regarding food supplements regarding the notification certificate issued by the Ministry of Health, marketing and labeling.
The new regulation establishes transitional provisions regarding food supplements marketed before its entry into force. Thus, food supplements that comply with its provisions may continue to be marketed, without the need for further notification, complying with the conditions underlying the issuance of the notification certificate.
