ANVISA publishes regulation on oils and vegetable fats

ANVISA made public two regulations on oil and vegetable fats. The first one is the Resolution of Collegiate Board (RDC) 481/2021 that establishes the sanitary requirement for oils and vegetable fats, while the second one is the Normative Instruction (IN) 87/2021 that establishes a list of authorized vegetable species, their names, fatty acid composition, and maximum values of bitter and peroxide value for vegetable oils and fats.
