FSSAI: Draft notification on Food Safety and Standards (Packaging and Labelling) Amendment Regulations, 2020 w.r.t labelling of multi-sourced edible vegetable oils

(a) in clause 4, after the sub-clause (b), the following shall be inserted, namely: -
âIn case rice bran oil which is physically refined is used as one of the ingredients in Vanaspati, it shall be declared in the ingredient list on the label as âPhysically Refined Rice Bran Oilââ.
(b) for clause 11, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
â11. Every package containing an admixture of edible oils shall carry the following label declaration in bold capital letter immediately below its brand name/trade name on the front of pack, namely:-
