Aupsa confirms that labeling of sugary drinks must be in Spanish

The Panamanian Food Safety Authority (AUPSA in Spanish) communicates to all companies dedicated both to the importation and production of sugary drinks for national consumption that based on Law No. 114 of November 18, 2019, there is the obligation to incorporate the nutritional labeling in Spanish for all those sugary drinks that are imported for national consumption, which has set a term of ninety days (90) from February 28 of this year to comply with this requirement.
