Health Authority begins public consultation on food contaminants

As of February 19, the deadline to send contributions to Public Consultations (PC) 777 and 778 dealing with contaminants in food is open. The first presents a proposal for a Resolution of the Collegiate Board (DRC) on the maximum tolerated limits (LMT) of contaminants in food, the general principles for its establishment and the methods of analysis for conformity assessment purposes.
On the other hand, the second deals with the proposal of Normative Instruction (IN) that will establish the Maximum Tolerable Limits - LMT. Proposals will be consulted for 45 days, until April 3, 2020.
