The Italian gendarmerie, serving as the law enforcement for the Italian Ministry of Health, has confiscated a large quantity of food supplements, with an estimated value of 400.000 euro, from a single company. The business concerns a delivery service which imported food supplements from other countries but failed to meet the legal requirements in Italy. It is likely the company did not carry out the notification that is required for the commercialization of food supplements on the Italian market.
