LIST OF GENERIC DESCRIPTORS PUBLISHED

The European Commission has published the list of generic descriptors which are excluded from the scope of the Nutrition and Health Claims Regulation 1924/2006. Although the listed denominations could imply a health effect they are exempted from the Regulationâs restrictions due to their traditionally use in certain member states. The given exemptions are language and country specific.
