Commission Implementing Decision on Decree on toddler drinks and toddler milk

Two Commission decisions concerning children's beverages have been published. The first is Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/100 of 24 January 2022 concerning a draft Decree of the Kingdom of the Netherlands on drinks for young children and milk for young children pursuant to Article 45 of Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

1. Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/100 of 24 January 2022 concerning a draft Decree by the Kingdom of the Netherlands on toddler drinks and toddler milk notified in accordance with Article 45 of Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council (notified under document C(2022) 312)

Article 1: The Kingdom of the Netherlands shall, based on the observations of the Commission in its negative opinion and this Decision, not adopt Article 7 of the draft Commodities Act Decree on toddler drinks and toddler milk, which it notified to the Commission pursuant to Article 45 of Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011, and which was subject to a Commission negative opinion notified to Dutch authorities on 28 July 2020.

2. Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/101 of 24 January 2022 concerning a draft Decree by the Kingdom of the Netherlands on toddler drinks and toddler milk notified in accordance with Article 12 of Regulation (EC) No 1925/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council (notified under document C(2022) 313)

Sole Article: The Kingdom of the Netherlands shall, based on the observations of the Commission in its negative opinion and this Decision, not adopt Articles 3 and 4 of the draft Commodities Act Decree on toddler drinks and toddler milk, which it notified to the Commission pursuant to Article 11(2)(b) of Regulation (EC) No 1925/2006, and which was subject to a Commission negative opinion notified to Dutch authorities on 27 January 2021.
