FSANZ reviews Farmed Quail as a novel food

Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) is announcing the second call for comments on application A1269: Farmed Quail as a Novel Food. This application is intended to allow Vow's farmed quail to be used as a novel food.
According to the applicant, FSANZ's approval of farmed quail will provide consumers with access to a novel alternative to conventional meat.
