SAMR simplifies the paperwork for the application of imported health food registration

The China State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) issued a notification announcing the simplification of required documents for the registration and filing application of imported health food.

The notification states that the Decision to Abolish the Requirements for Authentication of Foreign Official Documents" (hereinafter referred to as the "Convention") has entered into force in my country. The registration and presentation of imported health food involves qualification. Certificates of foreign manufacturers, marketing certification documents and quality management system certification documents of enterprises, powers of attorney (agreements), etc., shall be implemented in accordance with the following requirements: the above documents issued by one of the parties. The Convention only requires to apply for an additional certificate from that country, and it is not necessary to apply for consular authentication to the local embassy or consulate of the country and China.
