Ministry of Health to update tariff codes for supplementary foods, additives and packaging subject to state food safety inspection

The Minister of Health issued Circular 15/2024/TT-BYT, describing the list of products (food, food additives and food containers, packaging materials in direct contact with food) with identified product codes subject to import food safety inspection under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health.
In case there are differences or inconsistencies in the classification and determination of commodity codes of goods included in the List published with Circular 15/2024/TT-BYT, the determination of commodity codes of goods is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the customs legislation.
