Commission authorizes monosodium salt of L-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid as a novel food

On the 9th of April 2024, the European Commission (EC) authorized the placing on the market of monosodium salt of L-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid as a novel food.
The novel food is authorized with proprietary data protection for a period of 5 years from the 30th of April.
