AFSCA Circular on beef traceability and labeling

The Belgian Federal Agency for the Food Safety Chain (AFSCA) has issued a crcular on beef traceability and labeling.
The circular takes into consideration specific requirements for traceability and labeling of beef and it applies to all operators selling beef in the EU.
It is mandatory to use an identification and registration system at all stages of production and selling.
