FSSAI Authorizes New Tests For Minerals in Fortified Rice Kernel

The Food Safety and Standards Authority (FSSAI) has issued the "Methods For Testing of Fortificants (Iron, Folic Acid and Vitamin B12) in Fortified Rice Kernel (FRK)".

The document is directed to FSSAI Notified Laboratories and to State Food Testing Laboratories, and details the methods approved by the Scientific Panel on Methods of Sampling and Analysis for the determination of Iron, Folic acid and Vitamin B12 in Fortified Rice Kernel.
