Triacylglycerol Lipase Under Assessment as New Processing Aid

The Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) has accepted and is now assessing Application A1284 – Triacylglycerol lipase from GM Trichoderma reesei as a processing aid. The application seek permission for triacylglycerol lipase from a genetically modified strain of Trichoderma reesei to be used as a processing aid in baking and cereal-based processes.
