Technical Food Safety Regulations Under Review

The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) has published a consultation document on the proposed revision of the "Technical Regulations on Food Safety (TR CU 021/2011)", with a feedback period ending January 15, 2024.
Main contents of the document are:
- Establishing the forms, programmes and procedures for conformity assessment approved by a decision of the EAEU Council.
- Adding production batch definition.
- Food produced before the entry into force of the regulation can continue to be sold until the expiration of the shelf life.
