New harmonized regulation on processing aids

The Council of Ministers has approved a Royal Decree that unifies the authorized processing aids in food manufacturing and guarantees safety in their use and controls.
The Royal Decree brings together in a single standard the processing aids that are currently authorized and that, to date, were regulated in 20 different sectorial standards that needed to be updated to adapt them to the reality of food manufacturing processes.
