FDA publishes lists of substances prohibited in food processing

The Indonesian Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued Regulation No. 22 of 2023, which contains the lists of substances prohibited from being used or added in food processing.
Specifically:
- List of substances from natural sources that are prohibited from being added or used, including 156 substances such as acacia seeds and whole aconitum.
- Synthesized substances that are prohibited from being added or used, including 6 substances such as lipoic acid and acetyl-L-carnitine.
