New food substances under review

China's National Health Commission (NHC) is soliciting opinions for the approval of 8 food-related substances. Among the substances submitted for review are:
- Two novel foods" including sorbifolia seed kernels.
- Three new varieties of food additives, including β-amylase.
- Three new varieties of products as food contact materials, including fiberglass.
