Establishments exporting food products to Morocco to be registered

The National Office of Food Safety (ONSSA in French) published the Draft Order of the Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forestry No. 466-23 concerning the registration of establishments exporting food products to Morocco.
The draft decree establishes the conditions and procedures for the registration by ONSSA of foreign establishments from which food products may be exported to Morocco in order to streamline import compliance control operations, to better protect human health, to strengthen Moroccan consumer information and food traceability, to prevent food fraud and to ensure that such products come from establishments registered under criteria guaranteeing sanitary safety in accordance with the relevant regulatory provisions.
