New varieties of resins for materials and products in contact with food

The National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment (CFSA) publicly solicits opinions on new varieties of 3 food-related products, including fiberglass. The objective is to broaden the scope of the use of additives for materials and products in contact with food:

  1. Fiberglass, glass wool.
  2. Pigment black 28 C.I., black chrome copper.
  3. N-(2-aminoethyl)-β-alanine monosodium salt with 1,4-butanediol, 1,6-diol Polymer of isocyanatohexane, 1,3-diisocyanatotoluene and adipic acid.

According to CFSA, the proposed substances have passed the technical tests.
