Supervision and Administration of Food Product Quality and Safety

The State Administration for Market Regulation published measures for the Establishment of systems such as the control of raw materials and additives to strengthen the supervision of the quality and safety of food-related products.

The "Measures" stipulate the main responsibilities of manufacturers and sellers of food-related products and the specific requirements for the control of the entire production process. Manufacturers of food-related products must establish systems such as raw and auxiliary material control, key production link control, inspection control, and transportation and delivery control. Vendors will establish an inspection system for the purchase of food-related products. The "Measures" also clarified the quality and safety traceability system, the recall management system, and the food-related product labeling management system.
