China notifies updated code of hygienic practice for cooked meat

China notified the National Food Safety Standard for the Code of Hygienic Practice for Cooked Meat (GB 19303-xxxx) to the WTO SPS Committee as G/SPS/N/CHN/1066/Add.1. This Draft Standard will replace the existing National Food Safety Standard for the Code of Hygienic Practice for Cooked Meat Enterprises (GB 19303-2003). The Code applies to the production of cooked meat, but it does not apply to the production of canned meat.
