National Food Agency issues Technical Regulation for the Marketing of Poultry Meat

Decree of the Government of Georgia â731 on Amendments to the Decree â340 of the Government of Georgia of July 18, 2019 "On the Approval of the Technical Regulation Poultry Meat Marketing Requirements â340 of the Government of Georgia of July 18, 2019â.
Defines requirements for water content in poultry meat (must not exceed 5%) and gives possibility to the importers to test the consignment for water content at the State Laboratory of Agriculture (SLA) at Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia if consignment does not accompany with required document/certificate.
