The major differences between the old version and this new revised draft standard are as follow:
Deletes the requirement to mark the wine color and denominate wine-based beverages and beverages based on vitivinicultural products according to sugar content;
Amends the labeling requirements to mark the producer's name and the Kosher marking;
Adds new designated names for particular aromatized wine products according to sugar content.
Both the old standard and this new revised standard will apply from the date of entry into force of this revision for a period of at least two years. During this time wines can be tested according to the old or the new revised standard.
All sections of the revised standard will be declared mandatory.
