ANVISA opens a public consultation on the use of extraction solvents and processing authorized in the production of food and ingredients

The objective of the project is to update the extraction and processing solvents authorized for use in the production of food and ingredients, expanding the list of substances that can be used and defining the maximum limits of tolerated residues in the final product, so as not to cause damage consumer health.

According to Anvisa, the project will be available for contributions for 90 days, until September 21.
