GAC approved the import of dairy products from Slovakia
The General Administration of Customs issued an announcement to allow dairy products from Slovakia ([2020] No.19) that meet the required requirements to be imported into China since February 5, 2020. The General Administration of Customs issued an announcement to allow rice from Slovakia ([2020] No.22) that meet the required requirements to be imported into China since February 6, 2020. GAC lifted import ban on US poultry and related products
According to the result of risk analysis, on February 14, 2020, the General Administration of Customs and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued an announcement starting from the issue date of this announcement, China would lift restrictions on the import of poultry and related products from the United States (Announcement [2020] No.25). Restrictions imposed by former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the former Ministry of Agriculture in 2013, 2014 and 2015 were removed simultaneously.

According to the result of risk analysis, on February 15, 2020, the General Administration of Customs and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued two announcements that, starting from the issue date of this announcement, Botswana's contagious bovine pleuropneumonia ban (Announcement [2020] No.26) and Botswanaâs foot-and-mouth disease ban (Announcement [2020] No.27) were lifted.

GAC lifted import ban on US beef and related products
According to the result of risk analysis, on February 19, 2020, the General Administration of Customs and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued an announcement starting from the issue date of this announcement, China would lift restrictions on the import of beef and related products (above 30 month-old) from the United States (Announcement [2020] No.34). Related restrictions imposed by former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the former Ministry of Agriculture in 2001 was removed simultaneously.
