Federal Regulatory Improvement Commission (CONAMER in Spanish) opens public consultation on project NOM-223-SCFI/SAGARPA-2018, Cheese - denomination, specifications, commercial information and test methods

The present Procedure for the Evaluation of Conformity (PEC) has the objective of establishing the process and requirements that must be met by the producers or responsible for the product, to demonstrate compliance with the products called cheese and their different denominations in accordance with the Official Mexican Standard NOM-223-SCFI / SAGARPA-2018, Cheese - Denomination, specifications, commercial information and test methods, published on January 31, 2019 in the Official Gazette of the Federation. In addition, it is applicable to all subjects and their different denominations that are marketed in the territory of the United Mexican States.
