Case Study | Penalty for incorrectly-labelled protein content in food labels

The protein content indicated in the nutrition table on the packaging bag of the air-dried sausage produced by a company in Liaoyang did not conform to the detected protein content. SAMR imposed a fine of 10,000 RMB to the company and confiscated 209 bags of food with non-conforming labels.
