First! China Opens Dairy Market to Brazil

On July 24, Argentinian media reported that after 23 years of negotiations, the Chinese dairy market was opened to Brazil, and 24 Brazilian companies were approved to export dairy products (excluding infant formula) to China (list was shown below), products including milk powder, cheese, butter, condensed milk, etc. 

According to the report, China is the world's largest importer of dairy products, mainly imported from New Zealand, the United States, France, Australia and other countries. Brazil's annual dairy production is 32.1 million tons, accounting for 7% of the world's total dairy production. The report pointed out that Brazil plans to increase the production of cheese and milk powder in order to adapt to the market size of China.
