Japan Partially Amends Specifications and Standards for Food, Food Additives etc.

The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW)(åçå´åç) of Japan has released a new amendment on âSpecifications and Standards for Foods, Food Additives etc. (MHLW No. 1031 No. 1 Of 2019)â.
New residual reference values have been considered for the following substances: amoxicillin, captan, zitianone, thialopropride and propanil.
Changes shall be applied in six months from the date of the notification.
