Regulation to reduce the consumption of trans fats underway

The nigerian government has assured that efforts are ongoing to ensure that an effective regulation is soon approved to reduce trans-fat (TFA) consumption in the country. Minister of Health Osagie Ehanire, noted that efforts towards actualising the plan include policy, legislation, regulation standards, awareness, training, monitoring and other measures.
