FSSAI urges e-commerce food business operators to monitor food safety compliance

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), issued an advisory for E-commerce Food Business Operators (FBOs) on Strengthening Food Safety Compliance.
E-commerce food business operators (FBOs) must prioritize the training of delivery personnel in food safety and hygiene to prevent contamination, including proper handling, transportation, and personal hygiene. Food and non-food items must be delivered separately to avoid cross-contamination.
