Postponement of application of consumer information rules (food origin) until 2022

These regulations come into force on 12 November 2021. They prescribe a consumer information standard that requires the disclosure of origin or other information about a regulated food item.
The commencement of the Regulations has been delayed by three months. The Regulations will now commence on 12 February 2022. The commencement for the Regulations for frozen foods remains 12 May 2023.
