New modifications on identity and composition of plant species authorized in foodstuffs

The National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA in Portuguese) has published Normative Instruction - IN No. 311, which amends Normative Instruction - IN No. 87, dated March 15, 2021, which establishes the list of authorized vegetable species, designations, fatty acid composition and maximum values of acidity and peroxide value for vegetable oils and fats.
