Turkey updates methods for the control of plant toxins

The General Directorate of Food and Control of Turkey has published a draft legislation for updated sampling and analysis methods for the control of plant toxin levels in food products.
The regulation sets new maximum limits for these plant toxins, as well as approved methods to control those levels. The Draft Communiqué has been prepared taking into account Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2783 of 14 December 2023 laying down the methods of sampling and analysis for the control of the levels of plant toxins in food and repealing Regulation (EU) 2015/705.
