SAMR issues draft regulation on food safety supervision and management in food production and service enterprises

The State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) has published a draft regulation on the supervision and management of food safety responsibilities implemented by food production and service companies. The objective of the regulation is to encourage food production and service companies to implement and strengthen food safety responsibilities of the people in charge of the companies and to regulate the behavior of food safety managers. This project is formulated in accordance with the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China.
