VFA to improve surveillance on imported foods

The Vietnam Food Administration (VFA) has issued a draft amendment to improve the surveillance and safety of imported food products.
The draft amendment contains an updated list of imported foods, food additives, tools, packaging materials, and food containers under the responsibility of the Ministry of Health of Vietnam that have been identified for inspection on food safety.
The new list is set to replace Circular 28/2021/TT-BYT dated 20 December 2021.
